Work With Me
When I’m not busy writing, I work with other writers at all stages of the publishing process. If you hire me, you’ll be working with a novelist who knows exactly what it takes to get published, get read, and get recognised.
What I can do for you depends on how far along the writing process you are:
-
Mentoring – ongoing 1:1 support for writers working on drafting a novel.
-
Manuscript Assessment – an actionable, written report on a finished draft.
-
Line Editing – adding sentence-level polish to a structurally sound manuscript.
If you don’t know which service would be best for your book, get in touch and I’ll help you work it out.

Why Me?
My debut novel, Season, was shortlisted for the Nero Book Award, the Betty Trask Prize, and the East Anglian Book Award. It also bagged a raft of great reviews: everywhere from the Telegraph to the TLS to the Irish Times.
In addition to my own creative practice, I’ve worked with publishers and authors to edit a range of traditionally published books. These include Reflections on a Life Well Lived by Peter Alliss (Lennard, 2022); Burned by Sue Dobson (Vine Leaves Press, 2023); and Zero Ri$k by Simon Hayes (Rubriqs, 2024).
I also co-wrote Inside Allenwood with Giles Darby (Quiller, 2021), and I’ve worked confidentially as a ghostwriter and editor on other traditionally published titles.
